wrong creation date appears, if image file has none
Hello, and another small issue: In browser mode\preview pane\Properties there is always 01.01.1980 for my Olympus E-100RS images. The EXIF contains the right date of creation and last access and last changes dates are displayed correct. Win XP shows an empty field for creation date in image properti...

That's why we had a discussion some times ago about this, too. I think XNView should copy the file to be modified, modify it and if no error appears, move original to windows recycle bin and move modified one to the folder it belongs into. Especially for "lossless" crop this would be a vast improvem...

Delete .mov in View mode fails
Hello, I wanted to delete a .mov file from my digital camera (lying on the harddrive) in XNView view mode after and during playback. Then an error box pops up, saying deletion is impossible, because another program is using it. Windows miniatures are generally turned off on my system. Edit: In brows...

rc1: Icon for delete?
Hi,
Is it possible, to add an icon (recycle bin) for deleting an picture in view mode per mouse without richtclicking and searching for the right line?
It would be great (and no big thing, I think)
Stefan

all: copy in browser mode results in Plain text links
Hello, I just realized, when I mark and copy some picture files in XNView Browser mode and wanted to paste them into an already open new email, there were only plain text directory infos in clipboard. C:\Dokumente und Einstellungen\Administrator\Desktop\*.tif etc. Dragging and dropping them directly...

b4: Update check says new 1.82.3 is available
when checking for new version, it announces me version 1.82.3! I'm using an 1.90 beta and last stable is 1.82.4!
It's very minor, I know!

Why not! It's ok for me, too! But the Quality Value should be % (1-100). Then a filesize should be shown, too, as in PhotoImpact. I know this is harder to program, but it should be possible. And this is for the future. The compression is much more relevant! And the progressive and EXIF selections sh...

@Olive: and whats in the case, you forgot to reset it to 100% and after saving it, you realize that and the original file is oversaved and you don't have a copy? That was it... but just the filesize is not an argument for quality! cameras compress jpgs, too, I had to realize. But I think an low comp...

yes, but I cannot change it just for the file I'm saving now, but just in general. XNView should have two settings: the general setting, which is there yet and a setting, which is accessible via saving menu, where I can change the settings for just this single file and which are not saved as new gen...
