i've posted about this 'auto-correcting' of .cr2 files also. have not gotten a solution. i had a series of shots which progress from afternoon into evening, getting progressively darker as the sun set. nconvert 'conveniently' corrected each such that the final night image (intended to be very dark) ...

i haven't done anything that would cause the image to load smaller than its original size. this info is a follow up on this thread: http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?t=12401 are there special options or switches i need to employ to get a cr2 file to load at its native resolution? thanks, BabaG

progress on cr2 file corrdinates divided by 2?
just checking. is there any progress on the issue of cropping
coordinates having to be divided by two on cr2 files? or the
resulting cropped image being 1/4 size? has it been reproducable?
do you need a cr2 file to test?
thanks,

more info. i have the same images captured in both raw and jpg format. when i run the same script on the jpg images, the auto-correcting seems not to happen; the skies darken naturally as the series progresses. i made no changes to any settings. all i did was change the "cr2" references in the scrip...

follow up on auto-correct issue
sorry. been out of town for a while. just got back and have been trying out some things. i've been running nconvert from a script (wxp home/powershell). the script is simple, just running through all my canon 5d.cr2 raw files in a given folder and cropping and resizing them, then outputting them as ...
