The off-topic trumpet was sounded before that offering. Why drag the moderators into it? You can repost what you like in any style.

Re: MP 0.48: Thumbnails aspect ration 1:1/5:4/4:3/16:10/16:9

I am advocating integration with recent linux file managers. The folder structure on NTFS need not match EXT4, etc. if there is a severe difference between them. With folder names in settings matching the originals, a high count shouldn't be much of a surprise. Leaving it up to users not to overload...

Why not store miniatures individually on all platforms? c . Keep several (3?) pre-rendered thumbs in the cache, select the most appropriate one for the requested thumb size, and rescale in memory between sizes (see a and b ). Allow user to select which (and how many?) sizes to cache. Linux applicati...

Re: Throbber (Progress Indicator)

In old Firefox versions, the throbber served as a button. I used it as a second homepage since it had a fixed location.
Also, an option icon with gears somewhat resembles a throbber and perhaps could be made to spin (trying to find some dual functions).

Re: Networkdrive access in XnView browser (Win7)

I can't test it. I want to chime in and mention settings listed in wiki in case they have some effect. From, http://wiki.xnview.com/index.php/UI-less_Settings CheckNetFolder When enabled, XnView will check if subfolders exist on network drives when updating the folder tree pane in XnView's browser. ...

Re: Identifying transparency in non-supported formats

I'm surprised to read that an effect which requires a screenshot does not already exist somewhere.

I haven't noticed changing the changing background color being possible either.

Re: Paste grid onto image

Another button in grid settings dialog would be familiar to me after having seen similar buttons added elsewhere over the years. <apply> <embed> <close> We already have Filter>Effects... dialog. A special section for presention besides the commonplace ones like distortion, noise, tiles, etc. might b...

v.1.10(L) resize field a little short
