XnView Software

There were a number of posts a while back about the Zoom lock option not working in the expected way, whereas I don't recall any problem using it before. Could the issue discussed in the following thread v1.5.3 "Zoom lock" not working be in any way related to the issue being discussed in this thread?

We probably agree that View > Auto image size... is not ideal, not immediately clear? It does not (re)size image, it zooms image automatically to the window size. Sizing only happens with 'Fit window to image' option and it affects window size. Is there really a meaningful difference, Image size... ...

View > Image size... might possibly be clearer, I think?

Looking at the available options, that would cover all but the last Fit window to image, wouldn't it?
