Suggestion: tile image option

Website developers often create tileable images. Therefore I suggest the option to tile the current image over the whole window. The option should be listed by the "Use Alpha Channel" and "Show Mask" viewing options.

Favorites

How exactly are favorites supposed to work? Whenever I click on one nothing happens. If I instead add a subfolder, it will work properly for some time until the program decides inadvertantly to change it into a favorite. Thence, the favorite-that-was-a-subfolder ceases to function.

Format: STCI/STI (SirTech Crazy Image)

I would like to request that support (either natively by Pierre or as a plugin by someone else) be added for the *.STCI/*.STI (SirTech Crazy Image) format. The format is used in games developed by the company SirTech, such as the Jagged Alliance series. A pretty sizeable community can be found here:...

I had the same problem. Reinstalling the program to a fresh directory solved it for me. Note that simply toggling the options on/off will not always update the image right away. Sometimes you have to switch to another image and then switch back before the changes take affect. Do you have the "Auto i...

You have to switch images in order for the bug to take affect. You can't simply refresh the image. Also, the bug only affects 32-bit images with transparency.

[edit]
The same problem occurs for me when I zoom in on an image.

Changing "Auto image size" to "No fit"

Changing "Auto image size" to "No fit" causes the "Use transparent index" option to be ignored in View mode.

"Compose with transparency" is for 8-bit images, so it should rightly not have any effect upon a 32-bit image. Try disabling both those options and enabling the "Use transparent index (<= 8bits) or alpha channel" option, instead. The image should then render smoothly on top of your application backg...

I found the problem!

When changing the "Auto Image Size" option to "No Fit", the transparency information is lost.

Yes, I am sure. I am using crop in the View mode.

Here is a test image. You can tell that it is 32-bits because it blends neatly with the page background.
