renaming dialog window too short.

hi, (browser-mode, pressing F2 and having options set to [x] use dialog to rename file) is it possible to enlarge/resize the rename window to fit the filename? this would be very nice, because until now, long filenames are always shown truncated: an example: WWW_WURLITZER_WASTELAND_Plasticolf_Pastic...

i meant not the whole menu, just the single entry which is not useable/clickable should be greyed out.

greyed out menu-dialogs

hi, if viewing an image and then right-clicking to open the context-menu, i.e. on a jpeg picture, there is an entry "page". it's clickable. if i click on it, there are 4 greyed-out entries (next/prev/first/last), which are *not* clickable. so i suggest, to just make the "page"-entry greyed-out too, ...

resizable properties windows (ALT-ENTER)

hi folks,

the properties windows (ALT-ENTER, if viewing an image) should be resizable (or, at least bigger), so that the user can view/real ALL the EXIF information at once and not has to scroll up/down on every picture he wants to see the information.

Yes, a message box would be good. For those who don't want to see the message box a checkbox "Don't show this message again" might be useful. (Personally I think that users should be always informed if an image is damaged -> no checkbox.)
i agree with that, too.

Re: moving quickly through folders is not possible anymore?

Because the $soft liview control has many problems, so now in thumbnail mode, this doesn't work anymore... hmm...so this is a known issue? and it means, that it is not working on every system anymore? or it is working in *some* systems? because: —> loth - It works perfectly here, I tested with a bo...

@all:
i always asked myself, "why would someone uncheck this option?"
IMHO users want to see all possible bits of an image, even if the file is corrupt or broken.

so for what cases should i uncheck this?

Re: Nice here too...

It works perfectly here, I tested with a board of thumb-nails, no problems hmmm...it works on m$-explorer here, not in xnview. but if i go to the "open"-dialog inside xnview, it works (must be a call of an explorer function or somewhat...) Maybe some setting has been changed for you in Win$ - by so...
