this issue is still alive in v1.80.2. in fullscreen-mode (with more than 3 pics in the folder you're viewing the picture) press ALT-M to move the viewed file. move the picture to a directory of your choice. after moving the picture, xnview shows the latest picture, not the next, as declared in the o...

With 'sequence convert', you should select first file in sequence. The function is useful for handling many files which are already named in a sequence: a01.jpg,a02.jpg,a03.jpg. Personally I never use sequence convert since I want my files converted, not renamed. If you simply want to convert multi...

Re: error on renaming files then generating thumbnails

Perhaps a timing issue, perhaps name clashes (which are checked beforehand by XnView and which should not occur). Could you resize all your image files to let's say 50x50 pixel by using multi conversion and outputting them in a new folder. Then please try whether the problem still occurs with the s...

Sequence file convert doesn't work properly

hi, i just wanted to resize some pics because of http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?p=15795#15795 but it doenst seem to work as simple as i thought. -if choosing the 'input' directory via the '...'-buton, it seems that the dialog is the dialog for the output-diretory, because of the filename ...

Re: error on renaming files then generating thumbnails

Could you please try whether you can reproduce the problem with a smaller number of files (e.g. you could gradually halfen the number of files). Which Windows version do you use (XP, 2000, ...)? see my sig. (which i updated and which is unfortunately now under every post with the new data. i though...

From my point of view, only the most important functions should be available in the context menu. I agree with 'Print' and 'Describe'. Are 'Edit IPTC data' and 'Set as wallpaper' also used often? from my point of view, the user himself should be able to set the context-menu as he like to have it. o...

hide mousepointer much faster

Second suggestion: A key for "scroll down/up one screen" (=the thing that happens when you click on a scrollbar). Something like PgUp/PgDown would be convenient because the are single keys and not a combination. Perhaps there already is something like this, but then it is not documented in the help...

the screenshot i have used is linked to a free-webspace-server. they might not want the people to have direct-links in pics. maybe thats the reason why you had to paste that link. sorry for that.

There could be an option where XnView automatically choose the smallest Frame size applicable. Therefore, if you browse only vertical images (or only horizontal) in a particular folder, XnView will be able to optimize the space used and may show more thumbnails in the same area. It should stay as a...
