you can find a similar function in the internet explorer in the favourites menu. unused folders will be auto. collapsed

it's like in winzip, if you select an image in the browser and this image has a comment you can better see it that this image has a comment

i just copy the little image into the optionsmenu because I wanted to save place. the icon of course should be placed to the normal status bar :D

I think it must be codec issues. sometimes xnview try to cache a video but with no luck. if you directly play this video in a media player you have no problem. maybe xnview could just ignore such videos to speed up the display

sometimes there are too many tabs. you can't see them properly.
so I think a limit would be useful, as well as an option to order the tabs in multiple rows, if there are too many tabs to display them in one row

more commands can added to the tab contextmenu like - close all tabs except this one - close all tabs, keep browser tab - close all tabs Really needed??? yes. of course you can use the close all menu command, but if you would integrate this function to the contextmenu, the user have a fster access ...
