But be careful, if you automatically load last script, user might not see that when he wants just convert images quickly and he could also (e.g.) crop his images by accident. We must find some solution. I already have one (or two) :) Button with a checkbox [ [x] Advanced Operations ] or: Another op...

More than obviously my statement referred to the discussion in this thread and to the upcoming proposals how to do it, not on Pierre's work.

double click on a tab should change to fullscreen display. It is unfair to put my statements out of context. I wrote: a double click on a tab should change to fullscreen display. At least this is what I would expect 'intuitively' from such a function. So if my 'intuition' does not match yours or ot...

Please fix picture size in status bar

Hello, since using XnView I am annoyed that it does not show the current pic size in the status bar when in browser mode. I just found out why - because I have closed the preview/exif part of the window (I don't need that)! As soon as this one stays only a little bit opened the status bar also shows...

Jokes aside the point for me is that I expect XnView to follow intuitive and easy ways to use a program as shown by others. Discussing if the tabs should have an x or not is comical, to say the least. A middle mouse click is totally un-intuitive, as is the current behaviour: a double click on a tab ...

I disagree. These days you don't use three button mouse, but 2 button mouse with scrollwheel. The scrollwheel then can be clicked too, and used as middle button or whatever. For me KatMouse uses the middle button, on all my computers, and also on those of my friends, and nothing in this world will b...

Not sure if I hijack this thread or type something requested elsewhere. I ONLY use the batch processing for size downconversion of my digicam pics. I was able to set up everything without a manual (hear hear...), and XnView remembers all output settings. But why is the last used script not remembere...

Well, and I don't fully understand where exactly the problem is. What I see on my system is that the thumbnail in the browser is always shown transparent, no matter which option I use. Is it there where you want to see it without transparency? Is the black square effect in preview mode on your syste...

This thread is totally confusing. So far I found out: - the circle test file from the first post is shown as black square when 'Ignore Alpha Channel' is checked in Options/General/Operations. As I never changed this setting the default (unchecked) shows a circle and seems to be correct. - As mention...
