... I didn't do much testing yet but i think i have found possible bug. When I read resolution of CRW from my Canon EOS 300D i get 2048x1360 when this image is 3088x2056. Then I would recommend you test a little deeper and report the bug (if you find it is indeed one) in another thread outlining th...

D'OH I almost forgot what I did. (What reminds me that I wanted to talk to Pierre about that) I got my own libs with -c switch. But I also modified the headers in order to get them working perfectly with Borland CBuilder who seem to ignore some defines. (In this case WIN32 define).... Furthermore Bo...

IIT (Image Info Toolkit) , IrfanView are able to show all the IPTC fields correctly... The image is from 2002, and a comment mentions that it was edited with Photoshop 4 (I don't know if it helps...) I am surprised that XnView doesn't show all the IPTC fields here :( Ok, this problem is fixed. Glad...

When using the c++ wrapper (in gflsdk\c++) you'll need to add the corresponding .cpp files as well, eg. using "Project > Add to Project" The reason is: The wrapper code itself is not precompiled and linked into the library (dll). Thus the linker throws those error since the code you're using is simp...

RFE: Folder Pane & Some more Windows Shell Integration..

hi again, Im currently re-installing my system, and I took XNView as my default image viewer/browser. (throwing away ACDsee :P) There are some... ummm... "annoyances". First, the only thing you could do with the folder pane is selecting a folder. It would be great if drag/drop move/copy, deletion, a...

Yep...
Compiled and linked well.
Execution succeeded without problems (for my testcase).

Thx for the fast fix!
Will you release new version soon?
Or will you release a version 2.21?

Re: Bug in gflSoften? Getting AVs

I checked the same code again with MSVC7 (.Net) this time. And it crashes... Maybe it's something on my box? I both times used the your distributed .libs and RELEASE config. The dlls are located in my sys32 dir (not in the project dir)... With your code and Visual C++ 6, no crash :-( Strange, my sy...

Re: Bug in gflSoften? Getting AVs

Another testcase performed by a MSVC 6 (SPs + ProcessorPack) build... Simplied version of what I do in my application until it crashes. // gflsoftentest.cpp : Defines the entry point for the console application. // Same AVs. (But works without gflSoften call) I've tested with your code, and no cras...

Bug in gflSoften? Getting AVs

Me again :P I recently upgraded most of my programs to use GflSDK2.20. One of my Applications (SimilarImages - that dupe checker), now crashes whenever it comes to the dataset generation routines. I just recompiled and linked against Version 2.20... After switching back to 2.11 it everything works w...

Tested with sample found at: http://www.easynews.com/virus.html With XNView 1.70 you simply see the regular jpeg-file-icon (no thumb). You cannot open it with xnview... Says that the format cannot be determined. The image itself doesnt contain valid image data for what I read. Thus its correct that ...

IPTC Reading/Parsing Problem/Bug in SDK and XNView

Hi again. I found out that libgfl (and XNView) often do not process IPTC "correctly", while other programs (tested eg. with IrfanView) do. I furthermore was able to read it using my own code. Dont know it it is a bug or simply too "strict" parse-code... Result is always that the gfl-functions return...

The tolerance parameter of gflAutoCrop will be used how? Is it some kind of percentage. It's the maximum difference between pixels! And what does gflAverage exactly do? Parameters ( filter_size ) work how? It's a the filter size, so 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 Pierre. First of all thx for answering. But Wha...
