Sorry to be a pain, but if it's not too much trouble would it be possible to get a Win64 Unicode build as I do all my development on XP Pro x64 and target x64 for my testing (as I like to use native x64 applications where possible) ?

Thanks in advance!

Many thanks Pierre. I missed your post asking for beta-testers for the unicode version. I will get testing and let you know how it goes.

I see there are three versions of GFL 2.80 now:

Win32, Win64 and Unicode.

Do the Win32 and Win64 versions have the unicode functions ?

Support for Comic book formats (eg. CBR, CBZ, CBA etc)

The files with extensions cbr/cbz/cba etc. are simple rar/zip/arj files with compressed graphic files (jpg/gif) in them. The graphics files are sequenced by name/number, so the cover is the first file sorted by name. It would be great if GFL could be supplied with the filepath (ie. path and filename...

I'll try to upload a new version in 1 month (with 64 bits version)
Looking forward to it. Will it also support Unicode on Windows (eg. same two GFL DLL's support both ANSI and Unicode) ?

A Correction to my original post - GFL SDK 2.70 DOES support HDR, but doesn't support OpenEXR. XnView supports both formats.

Will GFL SDK support the OpenEXR format soon ?

Does GFLSDK 2.70 support OpenEXR format and HDR format ?

XnView supports these formats, but an app I built using GFL SDK 2.70 cannot read these formats. Are they supported ?

Any update on when the new version of GFL SDK will be released with support for 64-bit OS's (eg. XP Pro x64, Vista x64) and also Unicode support (at least for Windows) ?

It would be great if you could initially create a Unicode version for Windows (I assume you've used TCHAR internally, thereby allowing you to easily create a unicode version). UTF-8 is generally used internally by most versions of Linux/Unix UTF-16 is used internally by Windows, Java, .NET, MacOS X,...

Unicode support ?

GFL has to be the premier image library for supported formats, but it does not support Unicode.

Is Unicode support planned in GFL any time soon ?
