This conversion works: nconvert.exe -resize 220 220 -ratio -q 80 -out jpeg -o "05300003_new.JPG" "05300003_original.JPG" If I use -jpegtrans the original file will be overwritten, nconvert does not create a new one: nconvert.exe -resize 220 220 -ratio -q 80 -out jpeg -jpegtrans exif -o "05300003_new...

Oh, yes. This works fine, thanks. For a professional outlook I have two ideas: 1. Is it possible to make the text-stamp "a little bit" transparent , i.g. 50%? 2. Fixed Text or Watermarks on each picture?

How can I put easy a sign or a fixed text on all my pictures... i.g. my initials.

Rather transparent than very striking, like a watermark.
