Hello
I think there should be a thread about that, but I did not found it...
Select a gif with transparency -> Ctrl-U -> Resize to 16x16, save as gif -> transparency is lost (gone to white)...
Bug or wrong setting?

Web Page Create -> Thumbnail Size
A very small bug: Web Page Create -> Thumbnail -> Set Width to "100" and Height to (nothing) -> XNView will set Height to 0 insted of 9999. This means you get no thumbnails instead of thumbnails with width 100 and proportional height. Workaround: Set 999 yourself. Greetings + still thanks for all ne...

Settings for PrinterWorkarounds
Oh god... I lost two or three hours to synchronice XNView and my HP Laserjet 2100 for some critical exact prints - Problem 1: The Printer sends some wrong Paperdata to XNView, so the Output is some percent to small. XNView does not allow to oversize the Picture. - Workaround: Scale 0.9 in XNView and...

Web Page Create (recurse)
Hi Pierre My currently solution for cascaded Webpages: 1. For each Subfolder SUB in MAIN create a SUB.jpg 2. Step by Step create Webpages for every Folder: - For MAIN use a Template with Subpages for each Picture (e.g. _Default – simple). - For SUB use whatever Template you like. 3. Manually: Relink...

Web Page Create: Size Maximum -> Resize with 'Lanczos'
Hi Pierre After some Tests I was VERY surprised, that Lanczos resizes significant sharper than all other resample algorithms (test with different indoor and outdoor fotos, no graphics or similar). I'm not sure if your "Size Maximum" uses this Algorithm, but it would be nice, since most people will u...

hmmm.... I have seen this before, but it's too complicated (I often only have to deactivate the folders for some one-minute-reason) but no problem, some nice features are gone, 1000 new have come :) (This is why I use multiple Versions of XNView :) normally 1.92.2, sometimes 1.21, and very rarely 1....

100%Zoom does not work with different x/y-dpi
Hi Pierre I'm not sure if this is a bug or a misunderstanding: I pdf-extracted a picture with 825x1098 Pixels but sice of 1x1 inches... of course something stupid. But now, how can I see the exact Pixels? Num-* or View->Zoom->100% does not work. I always have a 825x825-Picture... The Thumbnail has c...

"Show Dir in Browser"
Hi
Sorry for this silly question, but I was not able to find the answer...
in XNView 1.21 you had this switch:
View -> Show -> Show Dir in Browser (Ctrl-Shift-D)
How can I do the same in 1.92.1?
Thanks!
Bruno

Bad bug.. but not reproducable: Deleteing wrong files
Hi With the old version 1.91.6 I just had this strange bug: Search vor *.mpg in around 8GB of *.jpg, *.avi, *.mpg and delete all them. Now search vor *.avi also and delete them. Ups ... he began also to delete *.jpg until a write protected one asked for deletion (recovered from Backup, no problem.) ...

Sorting Gifs: Animated, multi image, Fix
A way to sort gifs would be nice: Animated, Multi-Image, Fix Perhaps easiest way: Add "Infos" in Detailview which can be used for this Info and others. Sorting by this Column then solves the Problem. Another way, only a help: Properties = "50x50,256 (animated)" or "... (multi image)" ... Interesting...

V1.91.1: Printing 20x sends 20 Times to Printer...
Quite annoiing if you send a 20MB-Sheet...
In 1.82.4 You had this double Dialog, first Printer, then Layout. There this was no problem...
But anyway 1001 Thanks for the new Version!
