Calculate total number of pixels

I have been trying to find out myself and got lost on Internet reading about DPI and PPI and resolution and whatever Would it be possible to add a column showing total size in pixels ? Is that just W x H (e.g. 512 x 650) = 332800? Or does it depend on screen resolution? Sorting on total pixels I cou...

Re: How to filter images with specific dimensions?

To be honest, I would not know -where- else to ask such a complicated question. Point is that the size on screen does not correspond with the physical size, so, the physical size is of no use. Likely the screenresolution has something to do with it(??) Probably (I don't know for sure) a low-res 19" ...

Re: Open en close XnViewMP

Yes, that is the idea. Again, it is my mistake.. but it would be nice if XnViewMP ask whether I want to close, then I click on 'No' or hit 'Esc' so I can continiue with XnViewMP, instead of having to re-launch again.

Re: Open en close XnViewMP

I tried this a few times. No luck.
Getting the pop window, but no matter what I click/select, XnViewMP closes anyway, my idea is to keep it running.

Re: New layout - how to save it?

Tried that already before posting.
I have 4 panes:

Left:
1.Folders below that)
2. Info
3. Then at the bottom - full window width the preview
and above that the list.

I can't get the preview to the right.
Tried to drag it to the right, but it 'jumps back' to the bottom.

Re: New layout - how to save it?

Yes, almost, but I want to have the middle pane as details list. Have tried to create something with some copy-pasting.
It is not nice, but you may get a rough idea.

Re: How to filter images with specific dimensions?

Eh ... I want to delete images that are small (smaller than a specific size on screen, e.g. smaller than W 8-10cm H 6-7cm) Have a -lot- of images, thousands, so my first go is to delete all the small stuff, they are often just a few cm x few cm, so useless. No idea where to start. Of course, very sm...

Open en close XnViewMP

Up front... I know... it is my mistake. I know... However, I am making the mistake over and over again and get frustrated about my own mistakes, I would like to ask whether there is a solution for the following: when in XnViewMP browser, double clicking an image, it will open. then I always click on...

How to filter images with specific dimensions?

I have downloaded quite a lot of images and would like to delete images below a certain size (LxW), so they would show up on the monitor, let's say at least as postcard size. Q: How am I to proceed? Considering that maybe the dimensions of the images can be small, but because of the high resolution,...

XnViewMP multiple instances - close all open files

When double clicking image files one after the other, multiple XnViewMP instances are running, i.e. there are a few XnViewMP buttons in the toolbar. Right now, I need to click on one after the other, hit Esc to exit each one. Suggestion: add option to exit all instances when using File->Exit (or a b...

Hotkey for 'Save'

This sounds as a real newbie question, I agree.

But eh ..
what is the hotkey for just 'Save' (not save as) - I have this 'Save' button in the toolbar but would like to use a hotkey.

If there is none, how to assign a hotkey to this?
( I don't see an option within toolbar configuration)

Thanks!

Re: How to have large images opened in "Fit image to window"-mode

Deeply sorry for the delay, some matters came in between and I had to sort out a few other things.
This matter more or less slipped my mind.
Anyway..

thank you very much!

This indeed solved the matter. How easy could it be.. :)
I overlooked that option.
