Re: Hide folders - show files only

Sorry, that doesn't work, at least not with me. Then -nothing- is displayed, folders including their files are gone.
Probably what I want isn't possible yet.

Select original after converting

After converting a bunch of files, there are the original files and below (or above) that the converted files. Normally often the original files are still selected and they can then be deleted after a successful conversion. However, if the are -not- selected anymore, how can I re-select them (origin...

Re: NConvert and XnView MP

Thank you!
So far I never worked with nConvert.
I also notice there is xnconvert.

Going to have a deeper look into them.

Again, thanks!

NConvert and XnView MP

Are there any differences between converting using XnView MP and NConvert?

Think NConvert is partly(?) integrated in XnView MP.

If so, are all functions completely the same?
If not what are the main differences?

Thanks.

Is there a way to hide folders and display files only?

In the below example, just show the files

Coincidentally discovered: playing video..

When I was clicking thru images, I selected a .mp4 file and XnViewMP started playing it... Shame on me, but I have to confess: I wasn't aware of that. I have been using a different video player all the time. Went over to the XnViewMP home page, it is all about displaying images. Many formats, but al...

Re: XnView Default Sorting

What I meant: when you double click an image (launching XnViewMP) and use the 'next' button to go to the next image, what sort order is used - then -? In that mode, is the sort order by modified date, created date, name ... what? I am not talking about the browser mode. In browser mode (explorer mod...

XnViewMP v0.92 fileproperties say 0.91

When running Sumo, a tool that check on software updates, I noticed that XnViewMP is listed with v.0.91 (no updates available)
whereas I am running v.0.92

I checked the file properties, it says 0.91 there.

Just a (minor) tip.

Keep up the good work!

Re: XnView Default Sorting

Why you cant use same sorting as in the Windows explorer? Other programs can do it: Picasa, Basic Photo Viewer (Windows Store) Up front: I don't use the other programs, so, sorry, I can not judge about them. The thing is: when I double click an image from a series, e.g. picture 3 in the below serie...

How to edit/remove IPTC data?

Is there a way to edit or delete what is in the IPTC field.
The info there is wrong and I vainly looked for a way to delete it, I mean within XnViewMP.

Thanks.
