[*]Manipulation of ALL metadata (EXIF, IPTC , XMP and user defined); [*] user defined mapping of database properties to/from metadata fields, and user control of update timing - immediate (slower, safer), batch (better control), background (faster, less control); [*]Ability to define the metadata f...

Re: Make certain windows resizable

I use Sizer to enable dialog resizing in all applications. Thanks. Actually I was not aware of such application. Looks quite useful indeed! However, I am running 64bit, the FAQ says that it will not work, regretfully. That aside, I really hope it will not be too difficult and it will be included in...

Make certain windows resizable

For instance, when I select a file, then RMB Copy, the following window has a fixed size.
When you have a many folders/subfolders, you need to scroll up and down a lot.

Wud it be possible to make that window panel resizable ?

Thank you.

Further to http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=35&t=18731&p=78625&hilit=+how+to+create+thumbnails#p78625 I let XnView create thumbnails, but once it encountered a file named .abr it stopped and could not be closed down. http://i528.photobucket.com/albums/dd330/phwul/XnViewThumbnail-Hang-12-0...

Re: How to Edit / Remove added text

Sorry for the late reply. Thanks for your feedback. Maybe, one time in future, it will be possible. Create a textblock, edit text, fontsize, bla bla. Once done, then 'melt / burn / fasten whatever' it into the picture. Same goes for things like arrows, etc. No criticism, just a thought... ==

Having the thumbnails in front of me, I would : - select them all (ctrl-a), - go to edit->meta-data - click on "Clear all", to remove possible existing metadata (btw: maybe add this to...

... Have been working for just a short while with the .paf-version and noticed a xnview.db of well over 300mb... Has the cache been packaged into the paf file?!?! Or did the cache build up while you were using XnView? What's the size of the .paf file? If there's really a 300MB cache file in...

How to Edit / Remove added text

Once I have "Added text" (Image-Add text) , how am I to edit or remove that text ?
Assume there is an easy trick for this, but regretfully I haven't found it.

Thanks
