Re: EPS to JPG - Poor Image Quality

...for example this download from a site that I at least recognise:.. That's interesting: Tucows refers to Sourceforge, which shows version 9.09 and 9.10 and informs that it "is not maintained anymore" and refers to the main-page which offers version 9.19, but not for Mac .... @ lpkalin22 I can not...

SCNR

I don't know how Mac is handling EPS, but maybe you can find a workaround like "EPS to PDF to Image to ...."

Capture screen: Automatic detect area of window

In "Screencast recorder" by Autodesk they have a great function that the software detects the size of dialogues / subwindows / parts of the screen. For example, if you move the mouse over a software window, it detects automatic the area beneath the mouse (of course depending of the design of the sof...

Slideshow and Multi-page file

It seems that a Slideshow uses only the first frame of a multi-page TIF.

Correct? Wrong?

Multi frame: Saving after editing?

(EDIT: Merged from another topic) ---------------- I played around with a multi-frame TIF: Open it - modify frame - next frame - modify something - next .... I was a little bit surprised that all modifications where lost with command "next frame". Is there a way to make it better? - Is there an opti...

"page Down" to open in a new window?

Usually, "Page down" opens the next file in the same window.
To open a new window, I have to doubleclick in the browser.

Question / Suggestion:
What's about a feature "Display next file in a new opened window"? Does it already exist? Is it possible to add it?

Regards

Re: Addons/Plugins/...

Hi

I can confirm that neither XnShell nor XnView show some reaction and it is not clear if it did something or not - and if it did something, what?

So yes, it would be fine if it would be fixed.

Grid: Settings and Display

Command "View -> Show Grid"

Just to be sure: The settings for the "Grid" are

a) in Pixel
b) valid for the displayed size of the image
c) so independent from the size (width and height) of the image
d) there a zoomed-in image displays more grid line than a zoomed-out image

Right?

Re: XnView Shell Extension

Because there are no other messages about this problem it seem that it is a special problem of your PC. Have you checked the topics of "locked DLLs" and so on? Maybe there is something locked when PC is booted? One of these tool can probably help you: http://www.gibinsoft.net/gipoutils/fileutil/

"File rename" to existing file - error message

In a folder there are "1.jpg" and "2.jpg".
I open 2.jpg, press "F2" and want to rename to "1.jpg" -> I get an error message without further information.

Suggestion:
new Message "1.jpg" already exists. Do you want really to rename?

ZIP-Addon - confusing dialogue

IMHO the dialogue which appears after pressing "Filter - ZIP Pack" is confusing: a) Its title is "Save as (Ctrl+Shift+S) ...). Why "saving"? I want to pack. And the shortcut is used for the "real save as" which shows another dialogue (without the word save as) b) It displays a field for "File type" ...
