Re: Error with image renaming function
I don't mean the list of the browser but the rename-list. There is a problem in multiselection with moving to stop at the top or bottom.

Error with image renaming function
Select several pictures in the browser, choose Rename (F2), select two or more files in the list and move these selected files to the beginning or end of the list. Then the expected order is incorrect.

Problems with the Function "Capture screen"
If you go to the Control Panel of Windows and change the User Defined Text Size from 100 % for example to 150 % and now make a "Capture screen" with XnView, you will see an large adjustment error in screen shots. I recognized this problem, as I run XnView on my HTPC-System that works with an higher ...

Save As - Color Mode: Default-Setting
It would be nice, if the last setting of this dialog is stored as default, either for the program session or generally on the registry/xnview.ini.

Re: Provide an Option for Exit Confirmation
Frequently I close xnview accidently. Usually this happens when I am in browser and click escape, as I do when viewing an image and I want to close the image and return to the browser. I confirm. It wasn't a good idea to close XnView together with the last window by clicking escape as introduced in...

Batch rename: Insert EXIF- or IPTC-Data
Say you want to rename 100 files by inserting an EXIF- or IPTC-description into the filename. Under guarantee the procedure is interrupted by "Error reaming the file" because you have used forbidden filename character in the description. Here my suggestion: Please replace automatically all forbidden...

Re: "Save selection as custom" doesn't work
If you use the the Custom Selection in 1.90 many interesting things happen but not the right one. Sometimes the selection frame collapse to a very small selection and sometimes the vertikal orientation is transformed into an horizontal orientation. Re: Embedded Exif-Thumbnails, please a little more ...
I would be interested in the reason why it is not possible. Is there a principle reason? At the present time I use a different program to create EXIF thumbnails and I find no problems.xnview wrote:Sorry but currently, i can't add EXIF thumbnail if there is no EXIF or no EXIF thumbnail

Embedded Exif-Thumbnails, please a little more ...
Wow, in Beta 6 I found the solving of the embedded thumbnail problem. Now thumbnails are automatically recreated if saving a modified image and you can do that manually too. Very nice! The only little thing that I miss further more is creating an embedded thumbnail if there is no one in the exif dat...

Re: Update and create embedded thumbnails
Which thumbnail? When you create embedded thumb? I need this function for images of scanners, for digital zoomed shots or for rotated shots. I believe some people misunderstood me. I would not like to produce thumbnails on the browser surface of XnView, but write one into the existing image file as...

Option menu: option-boxes instead of check-boxes
In the option menu under "install" there are the check-boxes: [X] Use Windows folder to save INI file [ ] Use registry to save options and you use an internal managemant to enable/disable theses boxes. I think it would be more clearly to use option-boxes in this way: (*) Use Windows folder to save I...
