hi xnview , yes weve copied the xftp.ini in the same location of the fresh installed PC ,but the xnview on this Machine doesn't use the hashed password of the ini-file or save a new one. Weve tried also the Portable -Version of xnview . The Same Problem. We patched + reinstalled the fresh PC, nothin...

no the password,was save as a hash in the xftp.ini.
also whe we copied the ini.file to the fresh pc , xnview not using the passord-hash.

Hello , We use the xnview complete version 1.96 with only ftp-addon 1.04 in german language . a fresh installation of windows xp prof sp3 and xnview ,xnview can't save the password for ftp-transfer in the xftp.ini at Users-home/Anwendungsdaten/Xnview/ . The User ist the local-Admin of the fresh PC ....
