I am using the "Set comment" function storing into descript.ion to mark images - e.g. with a "<".

I am surprised that e.g. "!" as comment (from descript.ion) is shown in "Information displayed" correctly, but "<" not.

E.g. a "!!! <<<" is only showing "!!!", "<<< !!!" is showing nothing ...

Well, I disabled all that, but I still saw entries below Settings > Catalog > Cached directory ...

But by adding A:\ ... Z:\, \\Server1\, etc. below Excluded/Included it seems to be stopped ... - I had to edit the ini file as the interface did not allow me to enter it like that - but - it seems to ...

Yes, if somehow possible I'd like to use XnView "mouse-free" / keyboard only - especially when viewing pictures, searching the mouse only to press the "Write" button is not ideal

Alt-W for "Write" - or Alt-Enter - or "F2" - or whatever

Just a quick note - not really important - but the <p align=right> part is reflected in the size of the colored background area - like adding blanks where <p align=right> is defined - so <p align=right> is not visible, but the background area is extended with (unnecessary) "spaces" :)

I can understand that you need Enter and Tab - what about "Alt-Enter" (to close the dialog with write - like 'Esc' closing the dialog without saving – or "Alt-W" for Write (and close) ?

When adding a comment to "descript.ion" - Enter creates a new line, Tab enters a tab, Alt-W for write is not implemented, so - beside 'ESC' - there is no way to escape this comment field to 'Write' the comment.

But when using Position "Top-Right" the text is simply moved to "Top-Right" but still left justified - which looks odd and overlaps with the image.
