I have a set of .jpg files for which the Nex/Previous File arrows (or PgDn.PgUp keys) do not work. Why is that?

Re: Automatic rotation to correct position
Okay, Pierre, I understand. Now, I read quickly about orientation and EXIF on line, but must conclude that the articles were written by very bad AI :-( So, let me just ask two things: where would the orientation field have been in my image if there had been one? And what determines whether there wou...

Automatic rotation to correct position
While I have Settings > General > General > Rotate images according to EXIP orientation tag checked, images do not rotate to the correct position when I scan through them. I guess I am missing something (to get automatic rotation to correct position)!?

Re: Draw and its icons background
Pierre, this pertains to a monitor standing on its short edge (kinda' "portrait" mode) and its display orientation being portrait, and scale being 175 %. When I click Draw, the buttons (OK & Cancel) are visible down right, but when I click "Add text", the buttons are outside the visible field in the...

Draw and its icons background
When I click Draw, the screen looks like attachment 1. If I click on "T" (text), for instance, it looks like in Attachment 2. Then, I can not figure out how to get the OK and Cancel buttons back. Problem or easy solution?

Re: Settings window disappears
Thanks. Now, not knowing the details, would it be possible to allow user to change size of settings dialog box?

Settings window disappears
Hello: On my wife's XnView MP (same as mine; 1.4.2), the Settings box has no Minimize or Restore icon. Box is too tall; can't see bottom. Trying to reduce size by dragging down top edge. In doing so, window quickly glides downward and disappears. Main XnView MP window not accessible for clicks on ic...

Re: Print preview image resolution
Now, suddenly, I get a better Preview resolution. Go figure. I use ClipMate as my clipboard app (no longer supported; maybe I should look for some other app), and I use ClipMate too to create files from clips (screenshot in this case). Maybe the lower resolution emanates from ClipMate? I cannot drag...

Re: Print preview image resolution
Yeah, but why would resampling not work (XnView MP?)?
Width: 891 pixels
Height: 700 pixels
Horizontal resolution: 72 dpi
Vertical resolution: 72 dpi
Bit depth: 24
Original jpg file attached.

Re: Print preview image resolution
Three comments:
• No resolution problems in Print Preview window for docx files
• I distinctly remember having read, sometimes in the distant past, that you can set the resolution in the Print Preview window.
• Why do graphics in jpg files look okay, but not text in jpg files?

Re: Print preview image resolution
No, I do not want to zoom. The attached image shows what my print preview looks like (for text; images look normal). I would want text to be readable in print preview.
