Add support for webp animation in multi page file
Hi. Webp files does support animation. As a workaround today, I can make several images into a single multiple pages (or frames) webp file using Gimp with layers. The nice thing about webp files with multiple pages is the compression, which I figured is a good feature when having a lot of less-impor...

Tooltip - possible to change date format? [solved]
Hi. The default tooltip format string is this: <b>{Filename}</b><br>{Modified Date} - {EXIF:Date taken}<br>{Size KB} Kib However, this yelds the date format I'm not familiar to use. Is it possible to change this string so that the date formats like Y-M-D ? Ok, forget about it, I just found the solut...

Re: 1.6.2 Unable to write file last modified date/time [windws 10]
Update Yesterday I started the same computer, and I wasn't able to repeat the behaviour :? I tested both the same folder (where video files also was located) as well as other folders. In all the tests, I could get XnView MP to set file date stamps without any issue. I don't know about this, maybe so...

1.6.2 Unable to write file last modified date/time [Windows 10]
I did use version 1.6.1 very shortly, so I don't know if this issue was introduced in 1.6.2 or in older versions too. Problem description: Cannot alter timestamp in exixting files and file save as clear file time stamp (when existing file is opened). The metadata --> change time stamp doesn't work a...

Re: 1.6.1 Batch convert dialog - Crash when shifting active tab
Hi. The following filters - after my recollection: Resize ; Curves ; Automatic Levels ; Automatic contrast but - NEW INFO I renamed the xnview.ini to xnview.ini.old and also relocate all other (those listed under "other settings") folders to empty folders to be sure no old leftover settings from pre...

1.6.1 Batch convert dialog - Crash when shifting active tab
Observed on Windows 10. Same version installed on Fedora 39 (Flatpak), but not observed at Linux - but also a very different setup, so I cannot tell if OS version is important for this. Problem with reproducing the crash : May not happens first time. I did probably about 4 successfully convert opera...

Re: Sorting based on time - issue because two camera seems to store time differently [Linux]
Yes, I'll try change timestamp. The thing is that I live in Norway, so I'm not used to the PM/AM notification. I do know that AM corresponds to the hours 00:00-11:59:59 (in 24h clock) and that PM corresponds to 12:00 - 23:59:59. However, the notion of "12:44:08 PM CEST" is very confusing for me beca...

Sorting based on time - issue because two camera seems to store time differently [Linux]
First: I assume this is not a Xnview issue. I've imported image files from two separate devices (An Huawei Android phone and a Sony DSC-RX100M3 pocket camera). The software I used to import the images are Rapid Photo Downloader. Issue 1: In file manager, the modified time stamp for the Sony camera i...

Re: 1.0: Thumbnails stuck on icon-view-only until mouse click
Here is a copy if the ini file. Note that I have removed a lot of paths because reveal names, places and all sort of information that isn't smart do put on the web for all to see. Nb: while removing personal information there was some paths that was pointing to locations that either doesn't exist or...

I'll do tomorrow. Re: Customized toolbar - changes not saved at next session (Windows issue only)
Ok, that solved the issue because it turned out the folder that I have used (for more than two years) was somehow gotten write protected of reasons that have nothing to do with XnView MP. Also, since the ini file is placed in same dir as XnView executable, there was many settings that also was worki...

Thanks for your reply, but I don't think I understand what you mean - i.e. what is a toolbar file?
