Cropping palette is too small
The image displayed in the cropping dialog is too small for accurate selection of the cropping area. As the attachment shows, there is lots of room to display the image bigger. A zoom feature would also be useful in the cropping dialog. Or even better, to be able to select a cropping area while view...

Version 1.51 - "Resize" applies wrong factor
If you select to resize to 50%, the image is actually resized to 25%
1536x2048 -> 384x512 (should be 768x1024)
Resizing original to 25% actually yields 6.25% (1/16th)
1536x2048 -> 96x128 (should be 384x512)

Re: Suggestion: New scribble/annotate feature
If anyone else is interested in a workaround for this requirement, there is an app called TeleSketch (or TeleSketsa) which comes at it from another angle. Even allows you to take a photo from within the app, which you can then subsequently annotate. Nevertheless, my first prize would still be to hav...

Suggestion: New scribble/annotate feature
Please provide a new feature that enables the user to scribble and make notes on a picture -- even if it's just JPEG, PNG, BMP images. I use xnView almost exclusively for my image viewing and on-device-processing. But i often take photos for later reference, and when i need to write notes on the pho...

Re: ICC support
Thanks XnTriq! Ok, so I loaded xyz's image onto my HTC Touch Pro2 (Rhodium) and viewed it with XnView, Opera, and HTC Album .. and they all displayed it incorrectly (dishonourably? :D ) .. which seems to suggest that the problem lies at a device/OS level? And I'm guessing this is why xyz is asking a...

Re: PPC > WM 6.1 > I can't get my "Home" directory path to take
Suggestion_1 = try and set another folder, most basic as possible (not even spaces in the path name for example) .. just to see if you CAN set it SOMEWHERE. You might want to make it the simplest representative test: somewhere on your device (not the storage card); and a folder within a folder (ass...

Re: PPC > WM 6.1 > I can't get my "Home" directory path to take
Does the path have any special characters in it? For example, I have found that a hash (#) causes problems in the PPC environment .. can't remember which app i noticed this in though.

Re: Gestures are ignored in Image mode
UPDATE: Using Image mode was a workaround for the problem of losing double-tap-to-return-to-thumbnail-mode functionality ( described here ). Image mode helped by exposing the "x" button to close the app. But since that problem has now been resolved, this workaround is no longer necessary. :D So now...

Re: Double Tap is sometimes ignored
Some good news from bad: I had to hard reset my device (for an unrelated reason) .. So I had to reinstall all my favourite apps from scratch. And when I got to XnView, I was pleasantly surprised to find that the above problem has now gone away! :shock: :D So just for the record, here are the setting...

FEATURE REQUEST - Cropping enhancements
In appreciation of the fact that XnView is such a cool app (and free on top of it), i would like to offer the following ideas to even further improve it: Proportional cropping - Thanks to cameras of new PPCs being released with increasingly higher resolution, the opportunity for cropping without los...

Gestures are ignored in Image mode
Gestures seem to be honoured only in full screen mode, and not in Image mode. Can we please have them in Image mode too?

Double Tap is sometimes ignored
Thanks for a brilliant application - i've been using XnView Pocket since my HTC TyTN2 (Kaiser), and have just upgraded my phone to HTC Touch Pro 2 (Rhodium). But I have come across a problem running it on my Touch Pro 2. When tapping an image file in the file browser (the standard WM file browser, o...

Yes indeed, please add my enthusiastic vote too! Definitely for screen capture, but also for other options pleasezybernav wrote: I think other functions might also be useful, such as, opening pictures in full screen view or open slideshow from a file list. Something for automatic execution.
Thanks

BUG: "crop" should update embedded thumbnail
I'm running the latest version (1.40) on my HTC TYTN2 (wm6), and I love it. However, if I crop an image and save the results, the thumbnail does not match what i save .. the thumbnail of the ORIGINAL image appears instead. Seems this was a problem in the Desktop version a few years ago .. but it's n...
