I have configured XnView to not play video files as described here: https://superuser.com/questions/141632/xnview-how-to-skip-video-files-when-browsing-photos
However, it apparently still opens a video file and then ...

Batch processing: Only one transformation is applied
Hello,
I want to rotate and resize multiple images at once with this script:
jpegtrans( )
resize( 1 lanczos 1920 1200 -1 0 0 )
settings( 0 0 1 0 0 0 1 )
output( jpeg 80 0 1 0 0 0 1 1 1 1 1 )
However, XnView only applies the first transformation, but not the second. If I switch the commands for ...

Batch rename: Don't rename when missing EXIF
Hello,
I often use the batch rename feature to rename files from different sources/people to get them in order. For this, I rename the files to "<Date Taken [Ymd_HMS]>".
Unfortunately, some people provide images that have been sent through WhatsApp and that software is removing EXIF data ...

Perhaps it would be possible to warn the user as long as a fix isn't available?

Batch processing: Cannot exif rotate and resize at the same time?
I have some images that I want to rotate based on EXIF information and afterwards resize it. I was able to succesfully do this separately with batch processing but had no luck when I tried to do this at the same time. Images were rotated but not resized.

Re: Improve automatic naming of saved clipboard images
What is the workflow in that case? Like this?
- XnView checks which path to use (remembered last path)
- Open a file dialog to let the user specify a file name and proposes "Clipboard-1.png" (for the first image to be saved in the current XnView session)
Then, before opening the file dialog, it ...
