Images are opened in fullscreen and normal view by Kubuntu 9.04 (Kde 4.2 in general) if
1) XnViewMP liberary files were copied to /usr/lib
2) xnview was copied to /usr/bin
3) image file properties in konqueror are set to xnview and "use external application".

There are no other parameters known than e.g.: nconvert -shear image.tiff

Yes, only 3 columns (9 images) because there are 9 watermark position flags:

top-left, top-center, top-right
center-left, center, center-right
bottom-left, bottom-center, bottom-right

You can use the watermark options "wmflag" and "wmfile" and overwrite a large picture with 9 resized images. Their sizes must be one third of the large picture:

(Linux) ./nconvert -wmfile /home/images/resized_image.jpg -wmflag top-right /home/images/large_picture.jpg
