Hi,
I've got the same bug on Windows Vista.
It's not every startup. There is a 50/50 Chance for this bug.
No crash, normal program using.
1) Starting the program as usual
2) Settings saved to display favorites tab as first tab after program start
3) Favorites tab is fully clear as shown on the ...

I didn't find anything about this bug.
My problem is the following. When I open a folder and it creates the thumbnails. Now, If I scroll down to the end before the thumbnails were completley created it jumps back to the top at the time of the completion of the thumbnail list.

First I must said I love XnView, it's my choice for pic browsing, and the shell extension is the best add-on after picaview from acdsee...
But I miss an option... :(
I would suggest the option to open a file which is previewed in the context menu by clicking on the thumbnail, with the system ...
