Re: Option to set folder and file date to current time
it wants to rename the files & folders according to (probably) timestamp (EXIF/eventually if missing from real file) from digitized/created/last modified date/hour/second
example: IMG00014.JPG ---> 20110912_10.24.59.JPG (renamed using YYYYMMDD_HH.MM.SS)

Re:
almost offtopic My image is LZW compressed, which should have a great affect, because 5ß% are transparent areas (because of a bug in the Panorama software...). No bug here! you have 1 transparent layer. * Some people need a transparent image to edit it instead of completition with a single colour o...

Re: Modern style translucent selection box like Windows 7?
It is because it's an XP setting to enable/disable translucent selection.
Right click on "My computer" - Properties - select "Advanced" tab. on Performance section click on "Settings" button. check option "Show translucent selection rectangle"
Enjoy!

Re: Vote: New design of file-type Xnview icons + 256x256
256x256 icons are useless unles are used for blind persons. The exe file size will grow just for a cosmetic change. Remember that majority have Win XP, not Vista with snail speed. Vote/do what you want.
