Re: MP 0.94b1: refresh file after changes being made to that file

If you change the file outside XnView, you need to File>Reopen to be sure to have lastest version Ah, File / Reload (Strg+R). Maybe you want to use F5 here, too: Browser mode: Refresh = F5 (default) Viewer mode: Reload = Strg + R (default) As it's basically doing the same thing (from the looks of i...

MP 0.94b1: refresh file after changes being made to that file

XnView: MP ?–0.94b1 64 bit OS: Windows 10 Pro #1903 64bit If I open an image within XnView MP with (for example) paint.NET, change and save the file, XnView MP won't refresh the image and still show the old version. Trying to print it now will print the old version. Effect: Can be annoying. :D To re...

MP 0.94b1: overwrite previously deleted file

XnView: MP ?–0.94b1 64 bit OS: Windows 10 Pro #1903 64bit When I print a picture with the "Microsoft Print to PDF" printer, I get the "Save Print Output As..." dialog. If I wanted to name the file "test.pdf" and the folder already contains a "test.pdf", and I delete that file in this dialog, I still...

Surely you could download the program directly from https://www.getpaint.net/ and configure the XnView shortcut the normal way?
Surley I could, but that wasn't the question now, was it.

"Open with" and Microsoft Store Apps

Hi all, I want to open Paint.NET from the Microsoft Store with a shortcut within XnView MP to edit images. But since linking to the .exe doesn't work with these apps, I had to build a batch file as a workaround.*) Now this has two (very minor, but still) downsides: The cmd window flashes up. There's...

XnView: MP 0.93 64 bit (I don't know when this started, it's been a while) OS: Windows 64bit Switching printers lets XNV...

Re: Since 0.76: Printing custom sizes is broken

which printer do you have? i can reproduce for some size... I mostly use custom paper sizes with "Microsoft Print to PDF" that comes with Windows 10 (here: Pro, v1803, x64). But I just tested it with a Ricoh MP C2003 with the same result (that is, it doesn't work with the latest two versions of xnV...

Re: Since 0.76: Printing custom sizes is broken

It stopped working again since 0.91. But I guess there's nothing you can do about it if it's a QT thing.

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.89. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
Oops, sorry. There's still a problem. Trying to pinpoint it right now.

[Edit: Update to 0.90 fixed this second error I had with 0.89. Thank you!]

This problem is supposed to be fixed in XnView MP 0.88. Please check and confirm the bug fix here.
Clicking the programs works now, but the "Open with" shortcuts (alt + number) still do not (same error as before: File not found.) :bug:

Sorry for not being able to respond sooner.
