Do we need "Full Screen" icon?
I'm not sure if we need the Full Screen button. We can switch to full screen mode easily by double tapping the thumbnail.
I suggest that more useful buton would be View/Mode switching.

Suggestion - programmable soft keys
Hello
I think it would be good to asociate an actions to left and right "soft keys".
For example some tools or view modes.
The associations could be made in Options/Buttons.

However, if I was using Bridge (I'm not) the 1-level hierarchy it offers would be a limitation. And what about reverse compatibility with Adobe Bridge? Would be the Brigge users able to see the keyword hidden under the 2nd level? I think that's what is for madn important. ... my photos are used by ...

Rating and Color Label as part of XMP
Is it Rating and Color Label written as a metadata in the picture file?
If not I suggest to write the (Star) RATING and COLOR LABEL into the picture file as a XMP entity (XMP Basic Schema).

Re: Rating compatibility
Are Labels and Ratings currently written into picture file?
Does the ratng use Adobe’s XMP standard?
Are the labels mapped to the IPTC standard’s Urgency annotation fields (iView style)?
Is there any way how to search by Star Rating or Labels?
If not, isn't it good improvement?

Removing keyword
Does anybody have an idea how to remove particular keyword from more pictures? Here is an example: Imagine you spent some time inserting keywords to set of pictures (like 500 photos). You set keywords key1, key2, and key3 variously to those pictures. Then you select all those pictures from the set a...

Rating compatibility
I made some research (see my www) and found there is lack of compatibility in Five-Star-Rating between graphics software. Other IPTC and EXIF data are compatible enough but the Star Rating not. For example the Windows Vista Photo Gallery doesn't show those "stars" (View/Rating&Colour labels) I set i...

Re: Histogram pane enhanchement
And what about showing histogram in full-screen mode? Just simple line (3 colors) chart over the picture? Decent size (or adjusted size) in a corner of the screen.
It is off topic, sorry, but I appreciate the five star rating in the full-screen too.

Edit IPTC data dialog
When editing IPTC metadata in "Keywords" tab it's impossible to delete once saved keyword.
When you "Save template..." in "Edit IPTC data" dialog it do not save "Contact" field from "Credit" tab.

Re: Histogram pane enhanchement
Right now the histogram fills the full pane (with no frame or axis) and has always all the three colour channels visible, wich I found IMHO really confusing (sometimes one colour has a really high peak and, as the histogram is scaled to that peak, other less "peakful" colours are really hard to see...

Re: Histogram display for all modes
Hi Pierre I vote for overlay HISTOGRAM too. It would be great to see small histogram e.g. in full screen mode. BTW the size of the histogram, style and transparency could be various. Another suggestion -- I often use "logarithmic" histogram in GIMP. Can you make XnView switch between linear and loga...
