That's what I use. I create JPG graphics in Gimp and then convert them to webp in Xnview - with 80% settings
It preserves much lighter files with almost the same quality.

Re: Remember full screen state setting
How do you want it to be the last image in memory after starting the program, or the window memory as its size?
Because the latter is true, and the former would be problematic.

Re: Deleting a photo freezes the program for a long time
I will try this MP again in some time. I currently use classical. Then, if the same problem occurs, I will let you know according to this topic.
Because of this, I changed MP to classic - even though I'm missing 2-3 options. Like templates of your own size or a dark theme.

Re: Deleting a photo freezes the program for a long time
I don't know why this happens to me, I have a powerful computer. In the classic version it works without any problems, in MP it is always blocked for a long time - in the view of the change progress bar - for so many seconds.
I have no idea what could be the cause. That's why I changed from MP to ...

Adding your own template for saving image sizes
Good morning, this option is available in MP, but it would also be useful in Clasik. The idea is to add a template (your own selected size) to save photos. For example, I always use the 16x9 format - i.e. 1920x1080 or 500x281.

Re: Image quality when saving - no loss to the human eye
Your comment made me want to run tests with different image compressions and sizes. To see what will be the best choice. Thank you for your help.

Image quality when saving - no loss to the human eye
Good morning, when saving a photo in JPG format - you can choose its compression (quality). 100% means no losses. However, I have a question - up to what compression level is the difference invisible to the human eye?
I initially set the compression to 80% - will this be the threshold of ...

Re: Deleting a photo freezes the program for a long time
Yes, I know, that's why I wrote about it in my advice to MP. I don't know why it was like that, maybe there was an option. I have absolutely no idea what's causing this. Because of this, I switched to Classic - which unfortunately does not have a dark background.

Re: Deleting a photo freezes the program for a long time
Until last week I had the latest MP - for Windows 10. But I changed it to Calsik. The reason was that it would get stuck for a long time when deleting a photo - or when saving a photo after changing its aspect ratio.

Re: Dark version of the window view
Yes, but I have a problem with the MP version, when I delete photos it freezes for a long time, 10-20 seconds. I wrote this in the MP problems thread - what could be the cause.
A black version in Celasik would also be a very good idea.

Re: No photo data saved when saving graphics
Thank you, I will try it soon. When I have new graphics, hopefully I won't have to fill the description and title fields with some strange data.
This caused me a lot of problems because I didn't always notice that these elements were filled in the photo gallery.
Best regards and thank you again.

No photo data saved when saving graphics
Good morning, I have one more question. Is it possible to make the program not save additional data when saving graphics?
I usually have a large graphic and then scale it down to a smaller one. It often happens that I don't need this descriptive information about the photo - is it possible to turn ...

Re: Ashampoo Photo Optimizer Free
Can't you do the same thing in Gimp? Gimp is always free and has many filters for working with graphics. You can also edit photos there. Is this program better at something?

Re: Tips on scanning and organising large collection of family photos
I myself had a lot of family photos developed from film in the form of paper photos. I scanned them in high resolution on a regular scanner and then manually cut them into images (frames) and created files from them. It's hard work, but there are a lot of them. This is the only way I could save my ...

Dark version of the window view
Good morning, I was looking for such options but I couldn't find them. A dark version of the window view, not just a light one, would be very useful. I would be happy to use it myself. Unfortunately, only MP has it, not classic.
Maybe it's worth considering having a dark skin for the program.
