Playing around some more I found that hidden inside Edit there are some more options. I will give it a try and report back.

I installed 1.9.2 on my Mac. When I select a photo and then look at the Metadata menu I see Edit comment, Edit IPTC, Edit XMP, Edit GPS data, Edit, and Change timestamp. But I cannot find where I can set/change:

camera
lens
focal length
f-stop
shutter speed
ISO

Maybe I am looking in the wrong ...

I hope at least these EXIF fields so that the info will be shown in Lightroom Classic:

• camera

• lens

• focal length

• f-stop

• shutter speed

• ISO

• date/time taken

I am using a Mac.

No one knows if there is a way to do this?

I have a small number of photos (TIFF, JPEG) that have lost the EXIF info because it was stripped out by a program I used. I want to add back some of the info such as the camera, lens, and date so that it will show up in Lightroom Classic, etc.. Is there a way to do it in XnView MP?

I resent the Sony HIF file to you about 3 minutes ago.

Is it necessary to uninstall 1.8.0 before reinstalling 1.7.2 on a Mac? Can I just install 1.7.2 without uninstalling 1.8.0 and it will do the right thing? I have done lots of configuration to XnView and I do not want to lose all of that if I go backwards.

I just installed 1.8.0, but unfortunately this bug has returned. :( The HIF thumbnail for a vertical photo is not oriented properly. When I click on the thumbnail the full size photo is properly oriented though.

Yes, I can send you another A6700 HIF file. Note that I have already sent you two A6700 HIF files so you should be able to use them. Let me know if those 2 files are insufficient.

Suggestion: Please include the version number in the name of the download file. I had the 1.7.1 install file in my Downloads folder, but today when I downloaded 1.7.2 it overwrote 1.7.1 because they had the same filename: XnViewMP-mac.dmg . I checked my Trash folder, but the old one is not there ...

Where can I download 1.7.1? 1.7.2 is unusable for me. Thank you.
