Winget upgrade -- bad hash
I just tried to update XnViewMP via winget (Windows 11) and got the error message "Installer hash does not match." I'm not sure who maintains the winget repository, but something has gone wrong there.

0.96.2: Cannot navigate pages in TIFF after saving a page
XnView: MP 0.96.2 4 bit OS: Windows 10 64bit After using Save As on a page in a multipage TIFF and saving that page as a PNG, can no longer navigate pages in the TIFF Effect: XnViewMP still displays the page, but the navigation buttons in the toolbar don't work. The Previous Page button appears enab...

Typo in update check message
Subject: 0.85: <short bug title> XnView: MP 0.93 - 64 bit OS: Windows 10 64bit Help -> "Check for update" gives the message "(XnView MP is currently up to date" (in English). The open parenthesis is a typo (or there should be a closing parenthesis too). And there should be a period at the end of the...

Invalid XML from File List with Date Format Variables
The File List function to create an XML file of metadata can produce invalid content if date format variables are used. When a date like the creation date is modified with date format variables, the variables are added to the item name between square brackets. For example, "{Creation Date [Y m d]}" ...

Improve File Listing export of metadata
The File Listing function to export metadata from a group of files is extremely useful. I have two suggestions to improve it: Allow some way to save/export configurations of the metadata selected for export: I expect to have a variety of workflows for which different sets of metadata are needed, and...
Re: ToDo list
One small suggestion: if XnConvert is set to skip existing filenames, check whether the file exists already before doing any other processing, and if it does then just move on to the next file. This could save a huge amount of time, for example when creating a folder mirroring another with resized i...

Re: Rating Raw Files
How I can allow XNView to rate my raw files? Is there any other way to do this? By default, Lightroom will not check for updates to files already in its catalog, so it will not notice the change you have made via XnViewMP. To force LR to look for such changes, you can either Synchronize a folder an...

Re: incompatibility between -xall and % in -o
Have just tried with version 6.05 and it works perfectly, thank you very much. That's strange: I'm having the same problem and it isn't fixed in 6.05 (64-bit), for me, when I try to convert one multipage file to another. For example, nconvert -xall -multi -out tiff -o % *.pdf only uses the filename...

Re: can't set file associations
I'm having exactly the same problem, also in Win7 64 bit. I've tried running as admin and it doesn't help. XnView is also not an option in the Open With menu for image files.

Shortcut keys for all modal dialogs
It would be nice if some standard keys worked in all modal dialogs; for example, after performing an edit on an image and moving to another image (e.g., with PgDn), XnView asked whether it should save the modified image with a "Yes/No/Cancel" dialog box. This dialog responds to keyboard input (e.g.,...

Change uninstall name?
This is a very small suggestion: in Add/Remove Programs, GFLSDK is listed under "Uninstall GFLSDK". This is confusing because a user would normally be listed under "G", not "U". After all, any program could be listed under "U", by this system. So could it be changed so that the entry was just "GFLSD...
