Likewise I would suggest to add the capability to add lens information because some of us (like me) uses ...

-> Menu settings / file list / adding {raw} - .arp + ticking the 3 below boxes
-> Menu tool/import&sort
-> setup source target folder
-> setup destination target folder
-> no subfolder, no filename renaming
-> ticking "transfert file with no EXIF to 'Other Files' folder ...

Ok, I will reinstall xnview with all default settings and test the feature again

Tested on 5 files only, I have been able to narrow down the problem :

201024_17h58-0099.arp
201024_17h58-0099.CR2

201024_17h58-0101.CR2
201024_17h58-0101.CR2.arp
201024_17h58-0101.CR2.xml

RAW #0099 : not prompted for an already existing CR2 in the target folder but no transfert (neither of the ...

Troubleshooting with another folder "2020 semestre 2" as source (about 500 photos + sidecar files .arp, .pp3, .xmp, sometime more than one per raw).
Same scenario: transfert ok but several popup windows stating the target folder ("Resultat/AAA_MM_JJ") already contain the file, which is true ...

Tested under the following conditions
- Source folder has 180 files with a mix of raw, jpg and companion files (sometime more than one, ex: .arp (ART/RawTherapee) + xml). File names are consistent (i.e. graphic and non-graphic files do share the same exact filename, only final extension differ ...

Over years many photographers (myself included) end up with naming inconsistencies in their RAW files from a folder to another. It can be due to:
personnal improvement in naming convention
different DSLR sources
receiving pictures from 3rd party photographers
focus has been put on the name of ...
