Thank you for adding the selective gaussian while i was absent from this forum, but has the high pass called in another way or is it "buildable" via other filters?
Because i honestly do not see it.

Re: Output
i just saved two things where in one it was just the jpeg output selected the other "as original"
Also: gif animations when saved as original will get saved only for the first frame, despite multipage having been selcted and 87a being selected

Re: Output
ok, attaching two nearly identical scripts one should call for a "save as original" and the other as "save as jpeg"
Output
On Windows x64 Home, all latest updates. XnConvert 1.75
When switching scripts if a script has multiple saving options defined as opposed to a single one, XnConvert will choose as output just the first one instead of "save as original" with the defined options.

Re: 0.84: Copy Image does not work!
It just happened to me and i'm currently using 0.87 definitive.
I select a portion of the image, in the "edit" menu the "copy" command is grayed out and right click does not produce a "copy" command. [CTRL]+[C] does not copy anything.

Creation and modification dates
Okay. Usually i keep the folder with the images ordered by creation date, so i know which files to batch convert. Ever since i've switched to 0.87 i noticed that batch conversion will modify creation date. This is probably due to the fact that before images were mostly overwritten (if JPGs) and now ...

This is now what happens here. It always asks for remembering the choice every time i tell it to remember that i've chosen to delete the files.

"Remember choice" dialog
Currently each time i try and delete originals as it changes them (by the way, thanks that now it deletes the originals with the same extension, instead of overwrriting, i really needed that ) it asks if i want it to remember that it is going to do that. I check the dialog but it asks each time.

Re: "ultralong" file names
By default it's 256 characters However one can create a key named "LongPathsEnabled" in "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\FileSystem". So just check for that one key and its value. If there is no key, then it's 256 characters (for Windows NT compatibility), otherwise it's 65535 if...

"ultralong" file names
Due to deep directory tree some of my files have ... Let's call it: an ultralong name. There is a a way to enable them in windows. It is not enabled by default for compatibility. I see that in the latest xnview this was "disabled". What i ask is: does it check with the system what i the maximum leng...

Re: [LONG] XnView Bug or not? Help to find a problem source.
UPDATE!
Yesterday i reinstalled windows. Because i had a free day and i wanted to see if there was any difference.
The problem persists.
XnView still hangs up and staring chrome solves the problem.
Have not used Ccleaner yet. So that was not the culprit.
Let me know.
