Xnview 0.84 worked absolutely without problems just to yesterday when i tested 0.85 beta in a separate Folder. 0.85 worked, but the icons were bigger. It seems that 0.85 changed the xnview.ini. After the test 0.84 crashed every time, when a video file was in the folder. I reinstalled 0.84 and ...

Could you add aspect ration 16:10 (1920x1200) for wide screen TFTs to the image editor. There is no way to enter a new apect ratio to make a wallpaper for 1440x900 or 1920x1200 TFTs.

Another method to make a windows wallpaper would be to add an option for the background picture to cut the picture ...

There are often severel MPEG-Codecs on a system, like Cyberlink, Intervideo. VLC etc. Some Codecs gives better Playback-Quality. The Cyberlink Codec can play HDTV-MPEG2 Video on a P4 2,8 GHz without lost frames. Is it possible to tell xnview, which codec it should use to play the clip ?
