Thank you. I thought it was something like that and opened some of those files but could not see any hint. After scanning, I process those files in an identical workflow but somehow some get an embedded thumbnail and others don't. Not a big deal, I was mostly curious than bothered by them. Thank you ...

I wonder if someone could direct me to some part of the documentation that may explain the tiny icons I see on some thumbnails, like those marked with red arrows in the attached image?

Thank you Pierre for the quick reply. It would be a welcome feature if a few fields could be edited. I will have to find another solution to my problem.

Is it possible using XnView MP to add or change the title (and possibly description) field(s) of a JPEG file? I have looked at the properties which only display EXIF and other data but could not find a way to add or modify the title field. Any direction will be much appreciated.
