Re: XnShell text and logo in thumbnails
You should post a screenshot and show us what is excessive about your menu containing "XnShell: Options" Who do you mean when you say "us" ? You are the only person who doesn't believe. Turn on sub-menu with some file information showing at the bottom of the thumbnail and see yourself. Perhaps it c...

Re: XnShell text and logo in thumbnails
XnShell is not the only app out there that can show thumbnails on context menu, there are many others too. At least users would 'know' that it's an Xnview product by not just looking at the menu icon. Do you use two ore more applications showing thumbnails in the context menu? If not then you know ...

Re: XnShell text and logo in thumbnails
Oh, I agree that 'About' information is needed but what can you say to this: 1) Why we need to explicitly signify to the user that Xnview Shell Extension is 'there' ? It is obvious as you see thumbnails. 2) What is the reason to enable this feature by default on installation? 3) Is 'About' dialog be...

XnShell text and logo in thumbnails
Hello! Thank you for 1.97 version. I've just installed it and found that image information in shell extension thumbnail previews starts with XnView logo and "XnShell: " text. It is unwanted feature however and previous versions look much more clear. Could you make some option to turn this off and ge...

All settings are lost
XnView 1.96.5 Full Version. I have just opened/closed files one by one... Suddenly for some reason all settings have been reset :!: to default. After opening a file I have found that toolbar and skin are changed to default. Scrolling the mouse wheel didn't move to previous/next file (as I set) but z...

Great, shell extension in B6 works fine with .CR2! But now if "Half size" or "Full size" is selected for RAW, XnView crashes on .CR2 open: "AppName: xnview.exe AppVer: 1.90.0.0 ModName: xnview.exe ModVer: 1.90.0.0 Offset: 0009351c" It's a little strange, considering that preview of .CR2 works proper...

Selecting items using the keyboard in the "Options"
There are some issues when using the keyboard in the "Options" dialog: 1. Try to select (using Up/Down or Left/Right keys) some category that has not been selected since the dialog was opened. The focus switches to the first tab of the TabControl, the category list loses the focus (active category t...
