I didn't try that but I did do this {Folder name[0-0]} and it seems to have worked but I'm getting the filling I may be wrong

Yes this will do it. Take the last portion of the destination folder name {Folder name[1-2]}_{EXIF:Date Taken [Y-m-d]}_ MAC@Norwalk-High-School~{Folder name[0-0]}_### I didn't get a reply as to changing spaces to hyphens so I renamed the directories without spaces Hope I get an answer as to if I can...

On the output when defining the file name can I use only the first two characters of embed-able token

Can i just take the first 2 characters of the folder name such as {Folder name[1:2]} when using the output function in XnConvert

Resize is optional. It depends on how much you want/need to reduce the file size. Thanks - I reduce to 70% and it seems OK for facebook. Sure make the upload go faster. For images to be placed online on a site like Facebook, I would think that relatively low quality values would be satisfactory. I'm working with 12 - 15MG JPG files. I drop the photos into Xnconvert do auto level auto contract a little sharpen and then a bloom, Then I add a bunch of text lines and a watermark. I always wondered if the order of the actions made a difference ... Can I use XnConvert to reduce the resulting file...

Why do you have to even use resize? When I put my output settings to 80 or 90 the file size shrinks tremendously> I don't understand why the resize is even needed.
