Re: XnConvert 1.100
Installing v1.100.1.0 over v1.98.0 does not remove the v1.98.0 information from Windows Registry, thus the system and Winget will think v1.98.0 is still installed.

It looks correct in XnView MP v1.6.2 as far as I can see, great.

Re: JPEG XL HDR images on a non-HDR-cabable system appear dark and dull
you need to enable Settings>ICC
Then I'd like to change this to a feature request.
User story: As a non-technical user I expect an image viewer to display a valid image correctly by default. HDR images will likely get more common in the future.
Feature rquest: Change default behavior to ...

JPEG XL HDR images on a non-HDR-cabable system appear dark and dull
Opening JPEG XL HDR images in XnViewMP on a system that does not support HDR makes the images appear dark and dull compared to opening the same image with a program that seems to handle HDR better, like the Thorium web browser in my example.

Handle AVIF if file extension is renamed to .HEIC and .HEIF
Currently, XnViewMP v1.3.1 does not handle AVIF images if the file extension is renamed to .HEIC or .HEIF.
As long as the container is HEIF, XnViewMP should handle common file extensions used for images in this container. For both AV1 and HEVC.
Windows supports this "natively", as long as you have ...

Re: Supporting mozjpeg for saving JPEG files
Is that a reason not to add support for it?
I use xnconvert for images I use on web too. Would not be a bad move to have both the standard jpeg, plus mozjpeg support as I see it :)

Re: v1.63: WebP unable to set 100% quality
about lossless, yes a bug. Which settings of webp?
Well, the paint.NET plugin has several.
It has "quality", "Encoding speed/ quality", "Spatial Noise Shaping", "Filter strength", "Sharpness". Don't know if all of them is in the webp codec itself. But encoding speed/ quality would be nice :)

v1.63: WebP unable to set 100% quality
Hi!
WebP is supposed to work as both a lossy and lossless codec. But when you can't set the output quality to be 100% in XnConvert, it's not possible to create lossless images with WebP.
WebP does also have a bunch of usefull switches that i'd really like to adjust in order to get the output I want ...
