Re: [2.41>2.43] Broken grayscale rendering
I just saw a similar topic in the general support subforum and I can use the suggested fix successfully. After setting use alpha to 1 (in the registry in my case) rendering is normal again.

Re: [2.41>2.43] Broken grayscale rendering

If it loads from browsing from within xnview it is yellow and green and changing the zoom factor yelds other colors, red and black or magenta and blue. It also happens on a loaded true color image after conver...

0.85: Wrong "bitness" of BPGDEC.exe on 32bit version
In 32bit version, BPGDEC.exe and dependencies are 64bit. Same with latest version of XnConvert.

Problem with a big animated gif
The attached gif file which I downloaded from some github page can't be viewed/played by XnView (or XnViewMP) on my system, crash, freeze or error message box without a message are the symptoms. It plays OK in my browser and other image viewers so I think it might be an XnView bug. :bug: :bug: :bug:...

2.37: Mousewheel navigation: Zooming instead of navigating
Hi, with latest version (2.37) I have a problem with the mousewheel. It's set to navigate between images but very often it zooms in-out instead. It's so annoying I had to revert back to 2.36.

Re: How to crop a *.png picture to height 9000pixel ?
Depending on what portion of the image I would need to keep I would either draw a selection to the nearest possible value above 9000 pixels, then crop it and then use the Resize Canvas dialog to finish it or use the Resize Canvas dialog only.

Re: Ability to add "Open with <External application>" to too
Setting an external program as toolbar button works fine. You create a new button by using the append button and then you browse for an executable and an icon.

Re: SVG support via rsvg-convert.exe
But I don't get why you want to start a conversion from SVG to PNG within XnView. :? Well this tool only ouputs png data if I am not mistaken so I thought XnView could direct it to render a png to a temp folder and then read the png from there but perhaps it can output to stdout (not sure) which wo...

Re: SVG support via rsvg-convert.exe
Sorry, I should have mentioned there is an easy to use GUI tool to change the subsystem flag in executable headers. That's NW PE Builder: http://www.woodmann.com/collaborative/tools/index.php/NW_PE_Builder. The subsystem value needs to be changed from 3 to 2. It's nice you've discovered another way ...

Re: Faint grid overlayed on high quality downsampled view
No need for uploading a sample as any image will do. Here are however the grids showing up when seeing a 100% white image at a couple of different zooms: Viewed at 77%: http://i.imgur.com/sKAOXQb.png Viewed at 61%: http://i.imgur.com/GmXKr3k.png This is not what it actually looks like of course, I'v...

Classic, I wouldn't know about MP as I don't use it. And of course this for both issues/topics, this one and the one you've quoted me from.XnTriq wrote:XnView Classic or MP or both, Cap'n?captaincavern wrote:Still having this problem, can something be done about it?
