I have a similar problem. Since the last update XnView MP on my macbook pro needs 7 seconds to open an image!

Hi Pierre! Can we try one more time to add the file associations upon installation?

I have installed XnViewMP from http://ppa.launchpad.net/dhor/myway/ubuntu

I cannot make it to use QtCurve as all my other Qt/KDE applications.
