Re: Check boxes next to thumbnails - how do I remove them?
I'm sorry to revive such an old topic but... it happens way too often to me to wonder how to remove these ** checkboxes that appear seemingly random from time to time. Their removal is not intuitive, even if their showing up might be called neither intuitive nor non-intuitive. I see thei can be invo...

Re: Opened file from explorer - statusbar issue
Ok, and when is that "needed"? If I press Alt twice (effectively enable and disable the main menu), the indicator appears with the required information. I just came to that workaround by accident and used it in an .ahk script, so I can see the current position in the directory when I open a single i...

Opened file from explorer - statusbar issue
There is a small issue with the information in the statusbar when an image is opened from explorer in the viewer. I have associated almost all image types to open with Xn. It's perfect when I open a file from Explorer to view, then I can close the window with Esc key. But after the window is opened ...

Re: XnView 2.0.5 filetype associations problem
Thanks. Now, 2 days later, I find associations are still Ok and persisting. I keep most of my programs (incl. Xn) open for weeks and months, and XnView endures 5-6 months without restart just fine with no issues for me. So it is very stable. I update non-critical software relatively seldom and I hop...

Re: XnView 2.0.5 filetype associations problem
First, I want to appologize a bit. I was a bit affected by this last discovery of PSD and few others being stolen by XnView. I just fixed them and restored them to their original owner and hoping to persist. I have the feeling these were screwed up after I clicked the Windows File Associations... bu...

Re: XnView 2.0.5 filetype associations problem
No. I used the control panel - default programs to set file associations directly, and it worked as i said. But now I see another problem. After I opened the button you talk about, it presented a list of preselected extensions seemngly currently associated with Xn. The checkboxes are all dimmed and ...

2.0.5: filetype associations problem
Hi. I see there are numerous complants about XnView not being able to set file type associations right, and I'm about to enter the club. Using the latest version 2.0.5 for about a couple of weeks, and when I installed it I have set the desired file types. Just today I noticed that *some* of the file...
