Can smbd please give some hints and advices for best settings to get better quality downscaled images? I'm talking about real small sizes, like downscaling 512/256/128px PNG into some 24/16px, to be used for icons and buttons.
My own experiments with settings didn't really bring any different ...

Bump. I still hope for at least some answer, gifs are wide spread so a comfortable way to edit them fast would definitely be useful.

In my case i'm interested in ability to delete a frame from GIF, but while searching for solution, i found a topic where author asked for TIFF frame delete - so overall support for deleting/adding frames for multi-frame pictures would be grate to have!

veeery strange. i transferred most of blocks, all those seemed to be important for sure, and none made fresh portable to crash. so yeah, problem kinda solved, but i still don't understand what corrupted "old" portable, which is same version and most settings are now same.

So one day i start XnView and it crashes on start, no explanation, nothing special was done in recent days, after update to latest version(smth like month ago) everything was fine. Yep it proposes to send crash-log, but that doesn't solve my main problem = how to recover my settings stored locally ...

2 things i can't achieve with XnviewMP, and actually not sure if it can do this at all, so hope smb can give a hint.

1. how to view Only selected images?(in all views) i need to select some 3 or 10 images, and when i push arrows on keyboard to cycle only among these selected.

Sorry but i don't understand?? - have images sorted for example by name
- rearrange them, using custom order
- try Fullscreen view, but it shows them in previous order
- restart XnView = now Fullscreen view shows files as desired
When i drag to the top/bottom, the list scrolls... maybe i need to ...

taking thread up again,as i don't know if updated info was considered.

yet, id' like to ask: why custom sorting allows only one-by-one dragging? and why if file is dragged to the bottom/top, scrolling is not happening?
sorry if something, just expected this to be as always.
