Re: Disable mouse right click context menu ?

You can set the mouse wheel to Zoom In/out if you give up Previous/next file, then if Right button is set to Do nothing you have what you want, don't you?

Re: Disable mouse right click context menu ?

You mean that when you are zooming using the mouse wheel you are inadvertently selecting mouse right-click? If you have the mouse wheel set to Zoom in/out and the mouse right button set to Do nothing then pressing the mouse right button has no effect, doesn't it? If I am still missing the point plea...

Re: Disable mouse right click context menu ?

Hello, I wanted to know if there was any way to disable right click context menu in view mode, because mouse right click is mainly used for zooming and I NEVER use this context menu, the latter appearing annoyingly when using zoom with mouse wheel... Please look at the options available in Tools > ...

I'll install 0.99.1 on my Mint 20.2 Cinnamon laptops when it is released, after confirmation that the DEB version runs without issues...

Re: Ghostscript Updated

What it would be useful to know is whether the frequent recent changes have added any functionality to xnview software? Pierre? And whether the latest 9.54 version has again broken compatibility with current xnview software releases? If new releases are adding no additional functionality to xnview s...

Re: Can not view X3F file in version 0.99.0 for Mac

I wanted to attach the screenshots of the issue and the normal behaviour but was not able, don't know why. The current attachment size limit is 2MiB, file formats other than a few common formats can be uploaded if they are placed in a ZIP archive. Note: There was a user report yesterday that the fo...

Re: Option to turn off two-pass rendering

Tested the feature out, Settings->View->Misc.->Two-pass rendering at loading seems to work identical to manually changing prevSize in the .ini file, meaning all works well, thank you! However, I think the wording of an option is a little bit vague. If you can add help text on hover, something like ...

Re: Unable to make screenshot when a drop-down menu is open (0.98.4 on Linux Mint 20.2)

When a drop-down menu is open in the browser or viewer, there is no response when the Print Screen key is pressed. With the drop-down closed, the save image dialog is displayed as expected. not sure that it's possible on linux As my question referred to using the Print Screen key, I have realised t...

HerrBill wrote: Tue Sep 14, 2021 6:44 pm The star ratings incorporating numerals are per attachment are highly distinguishable and would stand out and be clearly visible on thumbnails. Does anybody know how I could incorporate these in my XnView set up.

Don't forget to add the attachment, easily done!

Re: Batch Image Combining

I would like to combine two images side by side from a specified folder or a list of files. Is this possible? I can't seem to find a command to do this. An example would be having a folder with say 40 images each having corresponding filenames with a different number sequence. Is there a way to mul...

Re: PDF: How to view other pages than the first?

@jancijanci

Those icons are on the toolbar in the XnView MP viewer, but there are currently no equivalent buttons in the Batch convert or XnConvert 'Actions' tab preview display...

Hopefully they will be added eventually, as they could be very useful when a multipage file is loaded for conversion.

Re: 4.1.0 locks/crashes Explorer on audio files

archive Attachment: I tried to post a small sample of audio OGG-vorbis with embedded picture, but board software refuses. You should be able to attach it if you place it in a ZIP provided the ZIP file size is less than 2MiB, otherwise you could provide a link to download it from a web hosting service.

Re: XNView MP and Mac OS 11.3.1 Crashing

That did the trick. Before I go is there a way to make a duplicate of a single image in Xnview MP? In the browser, you can use copy and paste (in the Edit menu or using Ctrl-C and Ctrl-V) but may then wish to change the default file name. Or you can always open the image in the viewer, and then sav...

Hello, First of all Pierre thank you for having created this software, and for keeping on supporting the users for a long time. I am really sorry if that sounds like a dumb question, but i do not understand what it does mean : you can set XNVIEW_GS_DLL & XNVIEW_GS_LIB environment vars I guess (?) i...

Above my pay grade, but are you able to launch XnView MP as root from the terminal, for example, and then try again?
