There is an 'Never ask again' option in the 'Save changed file' dialog, but it is valid only for the current session: After a program restart, the user is asked again to confirm overwrite.

A global option in the 'File operations' settings would be convenient.

I am asking to implement an option 'Confirm file overwrite', which should behave similar to the existing option 'Confirm file delete'. Hi,

My reply is only related to the 'Confirm on Delete' question, I have not read the other parts.

There is an option General / File Operations / Confirm File Delete, which should solve your problem.

I have also a suggestion: Please write distinctive subjects, not just ' A view suggestions'
