Keyboard panning is too slow and not smooth.

When the image is zoomed, using arrows keys to pan the image is very slow and not smooth. By far the fastest and smoothest app is Microsoft's Photos app (Windows Store), but other apps such as Honey View provide faster/smoother panning than XnView MP.

I think this needs to be improved.

0.92 - Can't hide menu bar

XnView: MP 0.92 - 64-bit
OS: Windows 10 - 64-bit

Can't hide the menu bar. I've tried adding:

[Hidden]
MenuBar=1

to the INI file but it doesn't work.

Re: Info about XnView's settings (store & load)

Settings across versions are compatible? Is the risk to loose settings for new features thus compromising the correct execution of the program?

Does IPTC editing modify picture itself ?

Hello all,

Question in the title. I've plenty of pictures in which i'd like to add a legend + comments. Of course i'd like the picture file itself not being modified (I know that saving jpeg, again and again, has an impact on picture quality).
For both jpeg & raw.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Re: Context Menu "Convert with XnConvert" broken on Windows

You can add a link to the SendTo menu or use a shell extension such as Filemenu Tools to add a custom contect menu entry. if you do use filemenu Tools, use %FILEPATHS% as the argument and not %FILENAMES% or you'll have trouble in folder paths that have apostrophes and maybe other characters as well.

I would also suggest to implement a snap distribution like Inkscape does:

Good to know. It's the newest version available on the FLIF website.
So I expected it to be the best version.
