Re: Groundhog day

I have Windows 7 64-bit and tried the zipped XnViewMP 0.93 (32-bit). I had no problem with launching the program. Do you have the same issue if you use the EXE version? Have you tried deleting the zip and downloading it again?

Re: Unable to paste files directly onto a disk

Yes the right-click menu. I noticed that the paste option works fine for a USB drive I have (labelled F:). Also the paste option is disabled for my secondary internal drive (labelled D:).

Re: 0.92: XnViewMP not showing webp images when opened from Windows Explorer

How do I check the registry association? I already tried settings another app as default and then changing back to XnViewMP but it didn't help. Also I tried deleting my config files so XnViewMP would be at default settings but that didn't help either. Thankfully .webp files are not extremely common ...

XnView MP on Windows XP: InitializeCriticalSectionEx

When starting XnView MP on Windows XP, I get this error message: 'The procedure entry point InitializeCriticalSectionEx could not be located in the dynamic link library KERNEL32.dll' After clicking OK, the program shows up normally and I can use it just fine. I was just wondering if this could be fi...

Re: Problems with double-click to switch mode

I was wondering if someone had reported this already; I'll try to do a better job of searching next time.

Problems with double-click to switch mode

1. Under Settings -> Interface -> Switching mode, the option for "Use double click to switch between:" will always reset to the default/first option of "Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen". If I change it to another option, click OK, and return to settings, it will change back. 2. Even wit...

Re: 2.05: XnView: .jpeg vs .jpg

With XnView 2.10, .jpeg files now open normally. However you still have to manually set XnView as the default application for it. It would be nice .jpeg was included as a viable file-type for XnView.

2.05: XnView: .jpeg vs .jpg

First XnView does not take over association of files with the .jpeg extension (with the "e"). Secondly, once I manually set the association, if I open a .jpeg file by double-clicking it, XnView will open but not show the image. If I open the file from within XnView using File -> Open then the image ...

Use system's Qt on Linux?

I apologize if this was asked or explained before, but why does XnViewMP (for Linux) include its own Qt libraries rather than use the systems'? I mean it makes the download fairly large and I prefer the way my system's Qt is themed.
