Re: Xcf files of Gimp 2.10 cannot be displayed

This is now worse than before for me and unusable. Just browsing to a directory with xcf files causes one of many types of crashes. There may be more. free(): invalid size Aborted (core dumped) munmap_chunk(): invalid pointer Aborted (core dumped) double free or corruption (out) Aborted (core dumped)

Configured Programs QT Error

Arch Linux I'm getting errors when launching external programs that use qt, which happens to be all my external programs. smplayer usr/bin/smplayer: /opt/xnviewmp/lib/libQt5Core.so.5: version `Qt_5.11' not found (required by /usr/bin/smplayer) For gimp, it's actually some of the plugins that use qt....

xnviewmp crashes gimp

I am not sure this is a bug or not, but xnviewmp and the gimp do not play well together. There are bug reports that go back years on the gimp bug trackers, but tracking down the exact problem has been elusive. Just recently a connection was made between these 2 programs which I can reproduce myself....

Re: [Theme] Blender inspired theme for XnViewMP (incl. icons)

Spectacular theme! I love Blender's colors and you did a perfect rendition. The only problem I'm having is the radio buttons in the settings window are huge. I am unable to size the window smaller to reach the ok button on the bottom. (My desktop is 1920x1080) I can use my window manager controls to...

Video Thumbs for Linux

I see requests going back years for this feature and would still love to see it come true. Linux doesn't have a good video library manager to quickly scroll through videos and manage them easily. (sort, file, rename, etc..) This is done easiest when you can see thumbs of the actual videos. The progr...

Re: Appimage Functionality

Figured out, sorry.

My first appimage and didn't know you had to set them at the commandline.

Code: Select all

$ ./XnView_MP-0.89.glibc2.17-x86_64.AppImage --appimage-portable-home --appimage-portable-config

Appimage Functionality

I downloaded the appimage with the intent on putting it on a portable drive that I could configure with its own library of images on the same drive. When i opened up the XnView_MP-0.89.glibc2.17-x86_64.AppImage, it inherited all the settings of the xnviewmp installed on my arch linux installed versi...

It doesn't seem to always happen, but when it starts it seems to effect almost any xcf. Here's one that it crashes on every time at the moment though.

crash on xcf

Not sure exactly what's happening, but clicking on an xcf file in the browser window will cause a crash sometimes. If there is anything I can test to help this along, please ask. Here are the last couple lines from the console before a crash. 7f825ef4e000-7f825f14d000 ---p 00003000 08:07 4628011 /us...

Re: 0.64 x64 Linux: Explorer Option in Browser not Working

I'm getting a little different behavior. It will open fine in any subfolder of home, but not mounted media. Looking at the command line output it seems to me that when it's the root folder it only has a single forward slash in the pathname. " / " When it's deeper than the root folder, the path is pr...
