Custom <DPI> label displays incorrectly for JPGs (2.43)

When displaying 300dpi thumbs, TIFF or BMP <DPI> custom labels displays correctly as 300. When I convert them to JPG and they are still 300 dpi, XnView now displays the label as 72.

Improved Crop

Would LOVE to see an improved crop interface including easily-selectable ratios and darkened crop-off areas. Something that echoes what acdsee or faststone does.
