Thanks!
Just realized, that I wasn't here for a long period - and never donated a cent during the period I used XNView very intensive. Well... changed both :). Thanks again, also to the people who are helping with tips, support, suggestions, ...! Nice to see, that you're still enjoying this awesome software...

Re: Dual pane file browser [with visuals]...
Very interesting solution! Especially for simply rearranging and sorting the files.
Thanks for the hint!

Re: Batch Process: Memory Overflog
Interesting: With the already reduced 80% jpg's I can't reproduce it either... and now I haven't any 99% any more... (they were 30'000 Files from perhaps 20 different cams...30GB or so...) So let's say: As long no one else has this problem and a workaround is so easy... don't bother :) Greetings, Br...

Re: Batch Process: Memory Overflog
Yes... It remains arount 90MB for some seconds (up/down/up/...) then increases without any decrease-step with every picture until 1GB.

Re: Batch Process: Memory Overflog
Hi Pierre
He he, this time it's on me to say: Nothing!
I only resave the Picture as 80% jpg (was 90-99% jpg).
If it helps you, I can try the same on XP SP3, 32bit.
Greetings,
Bruno

Batch Process: Memory Overflow
I had to batch some thousand pictures this weekend (Vista 64bit): After some houndreds I always have to restart XnView, since it gets into 1GB RAM and is not able any more to process further pictures.
But anyway: Nice new Version!

Where is "[x]Recognize Pictures by Extension"
Hello again after some months
I can't find the Option "[ ]Recognize Pictures by Extension" any more... has this been removed?
XnView.ini shows "UseExtension=0", but still the "test.picture" is not recognized as jpg until I click on it...
Thanks!

Re: Where is the option []Do not ask overwrite...
Hi Pierre I think to get it work, one should really outsource the solutions: Discuss in the Board as long as necessary, but poste Solutions in the wiki and link to them... If the article does not exist: Create it. Since it's possible to link to chapters inside an article a wiki can grow and remain t...

Hi Claude! I use and simultaneously extende a makro to translate Word to Wiki... Should work also with your pages. But what I don't understand: Where are all your XNView-Pages? Or is it all written on that single page? @Pierre: What do you think about an official Wiki? - there exist single-login-add...
